True statement! I wish I had learned this before my lung issue happened but moving forward to continuing to make it happen. As a former patient with the Breathing center I can say that I’m still using the different techniques that Dane taught me to enhance my breathing but also enhance my weight loss which plays an important role with my lung issue in a positive way. Thanks to The Breathing Centers of Acadiana!!!
🎉 Huge congratulations to our two incredible physical therapy graduates!

🎄 Stay Merry and Healthy This Holiday Season! 🎄
The holidays are a time for joy, family, and celebration, but they also bring the peak of flu, RSV, and other respiratory infections. At Breathing Centers of Acadiana, we care about your health and want to share some simple tips to keep you and your loved ones safe this season:
🧼 Wash Your Hands Regularly: Proper handwashing is one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs.
🤧 Cover Coughs and Sneezes: Use a tissue or your elbow to stop the spread of respiratory droplets.
🫁 Prioritize Respiratory Health: Stay on top of your treatments and medications if you have underlying conditions like asthma or COPD.
💉 Consider Vaccinations: Flu shots and RSV vaccines (where applicable) can reduce your risk of serious illness.
🎅 Avoid Crowded Gatherings If Sick: Share love, not germs, this holiday season.
Remember, a healthy holiday is a happy holiday! If you or a loved one needs assistance managing a respiratory condition, our team of skilled therapists is here to help.
📞 Call us at 337-252-6292 or visit our website, www.bcacadiana.com, to learn more about our services.

Y’all this is a great place! I walked in there on oxygen tank that you roll and after much progress made from their professional staff in helping me to meet my goal, I walked out of there on a portable oxygen on my shoulder!!! That was my ultimate goal and I could not have done that without their help/assistance!! They are also a physical therapy center, not just a breathing center!!
Thank you Kathy! I am so very happy that we could help you. Merry Christmas!
🎉👏 Celebrating Ms. Ruby August! 👏🎉
When Ms. Ruby first came to us, she was extremely short of breath and struggled to do any exercises. But with a special procedure at Methodist Hospital in Houston and her sheer determination, she returned to Breathing Centers of Acadiana ready to take on her pulmonary rehabilitation journey.
By the time of her graduation, Ms. Ruby was exercising without oxygen—and doing it all with a smile that lit up the room! 🌟
Her joy and progress inspired everyone here; we couldn't be more proud of her incredible hard work. Congratulations, Ms. Ruby! 💚
